The Mahogany stock is a Fletching item in Old School RuneScape. It is the wooden base used to make an adamant crossbow. This is a members-only item, and it can be traded on the Grand Exchange.
Players cut a mahogany stock from mahogany logs with a knife. This takes level 61 Fletching and gives 41 Fletching experience. The stock can also be bought from crossbow shops, like the ones in Keldagrim.
To make a crossbow, attach adamantite limbs to the stock. This also needs level 61 Fletching and gives 82 Fletching experience. The result is an adamant crossbow (u). Add a crossbow string to finish the adamant crossbow.
Mahogany stocks are a solid pick for players who want to train Fletching. Making adamant crossbows gives good experience per stock. The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, and carry in bulk. It cannot be worn and does not stack in the inventory. Each stock weighs 3 kg.
