Description

The mithril crossbow is a one-handed ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is stronger than the steel crossbow but weaker than the adamant crossbow. Players need a Ranged level of 36 to wield it. It can fire bolts up to and including mithril bolts.

This crossbow has a ranged attack bonus of +66. It has an attack range of 7 tiles, which grows to 9 tiles with the Longrange style. It has three combat styles. Accurate gives extra Ranged experience. Rapid shoots faster at 3.0 seconds per shot. Longrange adds extra Defence experience and more range. All styles use the Heavy attack type. The crossbow weighs 5 kg.

Players can also make this weapon with the Fletching skill at level 54. First, cut a maple stock from maple logs. Then add mithril limbs with a hammer to make an unstrung crossbow. Finally, add a crossbow string. Making it from raw materials gives 128 Fletching experience in total.

The mithril crossbow is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, which makes it easy to buy, sell, or carry in bulk.
