Description

The Black platebody (h2) is a heraldic version of the black platebody in Old School RuneScape. It has a special crest design on the chest, but it keeps the same stats as the normal black platebody. Players wear it to stand out or to complete a matching heraldic armour set.

You need level 10 Defence to equip it. It goes in the body slot and weighs 9.979 kg. It gives strong melee defence, with +41 stab, +40 slash, +30 crush, and +40 ranged defence. It lowers magic attack by 30 and ranged attack by 15, so it works best for melee combat.

This platebody comes from easy Treasure Trails as a rare reward from the easy reward casket. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so clue rewards are the only source. The item is tradeable and noteable.

You can store it in the treasure chest of a costume room in a player-owned house. Pair it with the black platelegs (h2) or plateskirt (h2), black shield (h2), and black helm (h2) to keep the full easy-level set together.
