Blue dye is a small bottle of dye in Old School RuneScape. It is a tradeable item that any player can use. It is not stackable and cannot be worn.
In the game, players can get blue dye from Aggie in Draynor Village for 2 woad leaves and 5 coins, or from Ali the dyer in Pollnivneach for 2 woad leaves and 25 coins. It is also sold by Oronwen in Lletya, Guinevere in Prifddinas, and Xochitl in Tal Teklan.
Blue dye is needed for several quests. These include Goblin Diplomacy, Land of the Goblins, Ghosts Ahoy, and Mourning's End Part I. This makes it a handy item to keep for quest work.
The dye also changes the color of many items. It can turn a cape of any color into a blue cape. It can turn a black robe into a blue robe and a wizard hat into a blue wizard hat. It can dye ogre bellows, make blue goblin mail from goblin mail, dye orange slices, and make a blue sail or a blue balloon.
Players can also mix blue dye with yellow dye to make green dye, or with red dye to make purple dye.
