Dragon javelins are the strongest javelins in the game. They are ammo for the light ballista and the heavy ballista. Each one gives a Ranged Strength bonus of +150, and they can be poisoned.
These tips are hard to get in the game. Most sources, like dragons and dragon implings, only drop them after you finish Monkey Madness II. The only exceptions are Scorpia and the Desert Treasure II bosses. You cannot smith them from raw materials either, so buying them saves a lot of time.
The item is stackable, so a big pile takes up just one inventory slot. It is also tradeable and weighs nothing. Dragon javelin tips are a smart pick for players training Fletching at high levels or ranged players who want strong ammo for their ballista.
