Description

The Light Ballista is a two-handed crossbow in Old School RuneScape. It fires javelins and needs level 65 Ranged to wield. This weapon was forged from the wreckage of an airship. It is a members-only item and it is tradeable.

The Light Ballista gives a +110 Ranged attack bonus. It has three combat styles. Accurate boosts your Ranged level by 3. Rapid fires faster at one attack every 3.6 seconds. Longrange boosts your Defence level by 3 and adds one tile of range. It weighs 3 kg when built.

The weapon has a special attack called Concentrated Shot. It fires a shot with 25% more accuracy and damage. It uses 65% of your special attack energy. This makes it a strong pick for big hits in combat. It can fire javelins up to Dragon.

Players can also make this weapon with 47 Fletching. You use ballista limbs on a light frame, add a ballista spring, then attach a monkey tail. The full process gives 330 Fletching experience. Note that it cannot grapple across Agility shortcuts, even though it counts as a crossbow.
