Description

The dragonbone necklace is a rare necklace made out of dragon bones. It drops only from Vorkath. You need level 80 Prayer to wear it. It gives a +12 Prayer bonus, the highest of any neck slot item in Old School RuneScape.

The necklace has a special effect. When you bury bones while wearing it, you get Prayer points back. This works with the bonecrusher too. Normal bones give 1 point. Big bones give 2 points. Baby dragon bones give 3 points. Dragon, wyvern, and dagannoth bones give 4 points. Superior dragon bones give 5 points. The effect starts nine seconds after you put the necklace on, and a small sound plays when it is ready. It does not stack with the Prayer restore effect in the Catacombs of Kourend.

The necklace also gives +10 Attack bonuses in all styles, +2 Defence bonuses, and +2 Strength. It weighs almost nothing at 0.005 kg.

You can combine it with a bonecrusher and a hydra tail to make the bonecrusher necklace. That item has the effects of both pieces. This necklace is a strong pick for Slayer tasks and long trips where Prayer matters.
