Buy OSRS Fine fish offcuts
Fine fish offcuts are a members-only fishing bait in Old School RuneScape. They are made by using a knife on certain high level raw fish, such as raw shark, raw anglerfish, raw dark crab, raw manta ray, and raw marlin. They are stackable and tradeable, so they are easy to store and carry.
Their main use is deep sea trawling. Players use them to bait rainbow crab traps and fish shoals. Baiting a shoal with an advanced chum station or better gives a 20% chance to catch extra fish. Rod fishing at shoals uses one bait per fish. Fine fish offcuts also work in place of regular fish offcuts or bait for barbarian fishing and aerial fishing.
Making them by hand is slow. Cutting fish takes 3 ticks per fish and cannot be sped up, and it only gives 2 Cooking XP per cut. Chum stations on a boat are faster, but they still take time and effort. Buying fine fish offcuts skips the cutting work so players can get straight to trawling, trapping crabs, and catching fish. A ready stack of this bait keeps every fishing trip moving.
