Description

The fire talisman is an item used in the Runecraft skill in Old School RuneScape. It lets players enter the Fire Altar, which sits north of Al Kharid. At the altar, players can turn rune essence or pure essence into fire runes. Making fire runes requires level 14 Runecraft.

The talisman has another use. Players can combine it with a tiara at the altar to make a fire tiara. This gives 35 Runecraft experience. The fire tiara then works as a way to enter the altar.

The fire talisman also helps make combination runes. Players can craft lava runes, smoke runes, and steam runes by bringing the talisman, a fire rune, and essence to the right altar.

This is a free-to-play item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped and does not stack. Monsters such as skeletons, dark wizards, fire wizards, abyssal leeches, and abyssal walkers can drop it, but buying one saves time spent hunting for a drop. Its examine text reads: "A mysterious power emanates from the talisman..."

Any player training Runecraft with fire runes will want this talisman for easy altar access.
