Description

The Granite hammer is a strong melee weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is a warhammer dropped by the Grotesque Guardians. You need level 50 Attack and 50 Strength to wield it.

Unlike most warhammers, the Granite hammer is fast. It has an attack speed of 4, the same as scimitars and the abyssal whip. This means it deals more damage over time. Its power sits between the rune scimitar and the dragon scimitar. It has a +57 crush attack bonus and a +56 strength bonus.

The hammer also works as a rock hammer. When you wield it, it smashes gargoyles for you, even without the gargoyle smasher perk. It has a 30% Golembane effect too. This gives 30% extra damage and accuracy against golem-type creatures, and it stacks with the slayer helmet's bonuses.

Its special attack is called Hammer Blow. It uses 60% of your special attack energy. It hits with 50% more accuracy and adds 5 extra damage. Even if the attack misses, the target still takes at least 5 damage. This is a great pick for Slayer tasks and crush-based combat.
