Description
The Hunters' sunlight crossbow is a ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is an upgraded version of the hunters' crossbow. You need level 66 Ranged and 50 Hunter to use it. Players with level 74 Fletching can make it by using a sunlight antelope antler on a hunters' crossbow with a chisel in their inventory.
This crossbow fires sunlight or moonlight antler bolts. It also works with grapples. It cannot fire kebbit or long kebbit bolts.
Its best trait is speed. It has an attack speed of 4, or 3 on rapid. That matches a shortbow and beats most other crossbows. Its bolts roll against the enemy's heavy ranged defence, tying it with Karil's crossbow and chinchompas as the fastest weapons that do this.
The crossbow has a ranged attack bonus of +79. It reaches 8 tiles, or 10 on longrange. It weighs 6 kg. With its quick attacks and the high strength bonus of its bolts, it is a strong pick when you want a crossbow but do not need enchanted bolts.
