Iron limbs are crossbow limbs used in Old School RuneScape. They are a members-only item. Players use them in Fletching to make crossbows.
To make iron limbs, use an iron bar on an anvil. This needs level 23 Smithing and gives 25 Smithing experience. Making one pair takes about 3 seconds. Players can also buy iron limbs at crossbow shops. These shops are in the Dwarven Mines, on White Wolf Mountain, and in Keldagrim Palace.
The main use for iron limbs is making an iron crossbow. Attach the limbs to a willow stock to make an unstrung iron crossbow. This needs level 39 Fletching and gives 44 Fletching experience.
Iron limbs count as fletching materials. They weigh 1 kg. The low alchemy value is 28 coins and the high alchemy value is 42 coins. The item has an in-game value of 70 coins. The exchange limit is 5,000, so players can trade them in bulk. This makes iron limbs a good pick for players who want to train Fletching or craft their own crossbows. The item was released on 31 July 2006.
