Jaguar fur is a members item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from jaguars, black jaguars, and white jaguars. All three are level 67, and each one always drops one fur. The item is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack and cannot be worn. It weighs 3 kg and cannot go in a fur pouch. Its examine text says it would make nice clothing.
The main use for jaguar fur is crafting a mixed hide cape. At level 68 Crafting, one fur and one mixed hide base make the cape and give 62 Crafting XP. Using a needle also takes a small amount of thread. Players with level 46 Crafting can take one fur and 20,000 coins to Pellem instead, who makes the cape with no XP given.
Jaguar fur trades on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 10,000 every 4 hours. Buying fur saves time for players who want mixed hide capes or steady Crafting XP without hunting jaguars themselves. The item was released on 20 March 2024 and has item ID 29218.
