Description
The Mixed hide cape is a cape from Old School RuneScape. It is made from the hides of a few different creatures. It is part of the mixed hide armour set. You need level 60 Ranged and 50 Defence to wear it.
This cape stands out for one big reason. It is the only tradeable cape in the game that gives a strength bonus. That makes it a great pick for players who cannot earn a Fire cape. It gives +1 Strength, +5 Ranged attack, and small defence bonuses. It also has a -15 Magic attack bonus, so it is not a good choice for magic combat. Its bonuses work well with the hunter's spear.
Players with level 68 Crafting can make the cape from a mixed hide base and a jaguar fur, using a needle and thread. Players without that level can pay Pellem at the Hunter Guild 20,000 coins and a jaguar fur to have one made.
The cape is tradeable and noteable. It can be stored in the armour case of a costume room as part of the full mixed hide armour set. It was released on 20 March 2024.
