Buy OSRS Ballista limbs

Description

Ballista limbs are a key part for making ballistae in Old School RuneScape. These sturdy struts are needed to build both the light ballista and the heavy ballista, two powerful ranged weapons.

To use ballista limbs, attach them to a frame with the Fletching skill. Attaching them to a light frame needs level 47 Fletching and gives 15 experience. This makes an incomplete light ballista. Attaching them to a heavy frame needs level 72 Fletching and gives 30 experience. This makes an incomplete heavy ballista.

Ballista limbs drop from demonic gorillas and tortured gorillas in the Crash Site Cavern. Demonic gorillas, at combat level 275, drop them at a rate of 1 in 500. Tortured gorillas, at combat level 141 or 142, drop them at a much rarer rate of 1 in 5,000. Buying the limbs saves you from long trips fighting these monsters.

The item is tradeable but cannot be equipped on its own. It does not stack in your inventory and weighs 0.25 kg. On the Grand Exchange, it has a buy limit of 8 every 4 hours. Players who want to fletch their own ballista need this part first.
