Description

Mahogany logs are a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. They come from cutting mahogany trees with the Woodcutting skill. Each log gives 125 Woodcutting experience when cut. The logs are tradeable and can be noted, but they cannot be stacked or equipped.

Mahogany logs are best known for Construction training. A sawmill can turn each log into a mahogany plank for 1,500 coins. The Lunar spell Plank Make can also convert them at a lower coin cost, but it uses runes. Mahogany planks are used to build mahogany tables, which is the fastest Construction experience in the game. Making 20 planks at once from mahogany logs is also needed for the medium Varrock Diary.

These logs have other uses too. Players can burn them for 157.5 Firemaking experience at level 50 or above. They can be made into mahogany bird houses at level 50 Crafting, mahogany pyre logs, and mahogany stock at level 61. They are also used for raft parts, ship parts, and Forestry outfit pieces.
