Description

The Maple shortbow (u) is an unstrung maple shortbow in Old School RuneScape. It is made by using a knife on maple logs. You need level 50 Fletching to make it, and you get 50 Fletching experience each time.

This bow cannot be worn while it is unstrung. To finish it, add a bowstring. This turns it into a maple shortbow and gives you another 50 Fletching experience. That means each finished bow gives 100 experience in total. Many players make these bows to train Fletching in a fast and simple way.

The Maple shortbow (u) is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It weighs 0.992 kg and has the item ID 64. The item came out on 25 March 2002. It was first called Maple shortbow, then renamed to Maple shortbow (u) on 17 May 2005.
