Description

Maple logs are logs cut from maple trees in Old School RuneScape. You need level 45 Woodcutting to cut them. Each log gives 100 Woodcutting experience, or 110 with the Kandarin Medium Diary. Since the Corsair Cove update, some maple trees can be found in a free-to-play area.

Maple logs are a popular pick for Firemaking training. They cost little and give solid experience. Burning one log gives 135 Firemaking experience and needs level 45 Firemaking. You can also use 6 maple logs to light an Abyssal lantern.

These logs are also great for Fletching. You can turn them into arrow shafts, a maple shortbow, a maple longbow, a maple stock, or a maple shield. A maple shortbow gives 50 Fletching experience to make, and a maple longbow gives 58.3. Adding a bow string gives extra experience on top of that.

Maple logs are tradeable and noteable, but they do not stack. Each log weighs 2 kg. Their high alchemy value is 48 gp. Stock up on maple logs to train Firemaking or Fletching fast without spending much gold.
