The Mithril crossbow (u) is an unstrung crossbow in Old School RuneScape. It is a members-only item. Players make it with the Fletching skill by joining a maple stock with mithril limbs. This needs level 54 Fletching and gives 64 Fletching experience. A boosted Fletching level also works.

This crossbow is not finished yet. It cannot be worn or used in combat. To finish it, a player attaches a crossbow string. This also needs level 54 Fletching and gives 32 more experience. The result is a full mithril crossbow ready to use.

Many players want this item for Fletching training. It gives good experience and turns into a useful ranged weapon when strung. It is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, or move in bulk. It weighs 8 kg.

The item came out on 31 July 2006. Its item ID is 9461. It was once called Mithril c'bow (u) but was renamed to Mithril crossbow (u) in December 2014. Pick one up to skip the crafting steps and get right to stringing or selling.
