Description

The onyx amulet (u) is the unstrung version of the onyx amulet in Old School RuneScape. It is a members only item that is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be worn or stacked.

Players make this amulet by using a gold bar on a furnace with a cut onyx and an amulet mould in their inventory. This needs level 90 Crafting and gives 165 Crafting experience. Making one takes 3 game ticks, which is 1.8 seconds.

To finish the amulet, use a ball of wool on it. You can also use the String Jewellery spell from the Lunar spellbook. Stringing gives 4 more Crafting experience and turns it into an onyx amulet. The strung amulet has no combat stat bonuses on its own.

The real value comes after stringing. Players can enchant the onyx amulet into an amulet of fury with the Lvl-6 Enchant spell, which needs level 87 Magic. An enchant onyx tablet made at a lectern in a player-owned house also works. The amulet of fury is one of the best-known amulets in the game, so this item is a key step for many players.
