Description

The Phoenix necklace is a life-saving item in Old School RuneScape. When your Hitpoints drop to 20% of your maximum or lower, the necklace restores 30% of your maximum Hitpoints on its own. It works one time, then it is destroyed. The healing is based on your base Hitpoints level.

The necklace does more than heal. It also clears any pending attacks aimed at you, like spells or arrows still in the air. This works on some multi-hit special attacks too, such as dragon claws and dark bows. If one hit triggers the necklace, the rest of the hits are canceled. This makes it a popular gear switch in PvP to counter special attack finishers.

Players can make one by casting Lvl-4 Enchant on a diamond necklace. This needs level 57 Magic, 10 earth runes, and 1 cosmic rune, and gives 67 Magic experience.

Keep in mind that the necklace counts as food in legacy duels at Emir's Arena and in Tombs of Amascut. It will not work if the No Food option or the On a Diet invocation is active. It also cannot be used in Bounty Hunter.
