Description

The Redwood shield is a solid wooden shield in Old School RuneScape. You need level 40 Defence to wear it. It is a members-only item, and you can trade it or turn it into a bank note.

This shield gives no attack bonuses, but it does help you block hits. It gives +12 Stab, +15 Slash, +11 Crush, +4 Magic, and +10 Ranged defence. It weighs 3.175 kg.

Skillers can make this shield too. With level 92 Fletching, use a knife on two redwood logs to craft one. This gives 216 Fletching experience. The shield is also useful for Crafting training. At level 83 Crafting, add 2 black dragon leather and 15 rune nails with a hammer in your inventory. This turns it into a black d'hide shield and gives 172 Crafting experience.

The Redwood shield came out on 1 February 2018. It can be bought and sold on the Grand Exchange, where it has a buy limit of 18,000 every 4 hours. Its item ID is 22266. It is a smart pick for players who want a cheap shield or a step in their Crafting training.
