Buy OSRS Sapphire glacialis (item)

Description

The sapphire glacialis is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a butterfly held in a jar. Players catch it with a butterfly jar in their inventory. This takes level 25 Hunter with a magic butterfly net, or level 35 Hunter without one. Each catch gives 34 Hunter experience.

These butterflies live in the Rellekka Hunter area, outside the Farming Guild, and on Mons Gratia.

The jarred butterfly boosts Defence. It raises the stat by 4 plus 15 percent of the Defence level, rounded down. In a multi-combat zone, a player can use it on another player. The boost can also reach up to three more players in a 5x5 area around the target. Players need Accept Aid turned on to get the boost. The empty butterfly jar stays in the inventory after use.

With a pestle and mortar, players can mix the jarred butterfly with raw hunter meat to make sapphire glacialis mix (2).

The sapphire glacialis is tradeable and noteable. It is not equipable and does not stack. It weighs 0.02 kg. Its item ID is 10018.
