Description

Slayer's respite is an ale in Old School RuneScape. Drinking it restores 1 Hitpoint and boosts your Slayer level by 2 for a short time. It also lowers your Attack and Strength while the boost lasts. There is a stronger mature version, Slayer's respite(m), which boosts Slayer by 4 levels.

The Slayer boost lets you fight monsters that are a little above your current level. For example, you can face Spiritual mages a couple of levels early to try for dragon boots. You can also use it to fight some Slayer bosses early on a matching task, like Cerberus on a hellhound task or Araxxor on a spiders task.

Players can brew this ale at level 59 Cooking for 479 experience. The recipe uses 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 wildblood hops, and a pot of ale yeast. Brewing is done in the vats in eastern Keldagrim or Port Phasmatys. Adding the stuff before the hops raises the chance of getting the mature version.

This ale is a fun and cheap way to push your Slayer level up for a short time and take on tougher targets.
