Description

Wildblood hops are a rare crop in Old School RuneScape. They grow from wildblood seeds planted in a hops patch. You need level 28 Farming to plant the seeds, and each patch takes four seeds. The crop grows in 80 minutes and does not regrow after you harvest it.

The main use for wildblood hops is brewing. Four hops go into a batch of slayer's respite, an ale made at level 59. A standard batch uses two buckets of water, two barley malt, four wildblood hops, one ale yeast, and eight beer glasses. It can also be brewed into kegs using calquat kegs. The glass version gives 479 XP.

These hops are hard to get. You can only grow them yourself or get them from other players. The seeds come from Olivia in Draynor, Master Farmers, or monster drops, but the hops do not.

Lore fans may know that the Wildblood family of Canifis passed this hop variety down for generations. The ale it makes has a sharp sour taste with hints of lemon and tart apple. Wildblood hops are a solid pick for players training brewing or making slayer's respite.
