Description

The Super defence(2) is a 2-dose potion in Old School RuneScape. Each dose gives a temporary boost to your Defence level. The boost equals 5 plus 15% of your current Defence level, rounded down. The boost drops by 1 point each minute, or every 90 seconds if you use the Preserve prayer.

This potion is a great pick for combat. A higher Defence level means you take fewer hits from monsters and other players. Drink a dose before a tough fight to stay in the battle longer.

Players with level 66 Herblore make this potion by adding white berries to a cadantine potion (unf). With 71 Herblore and Barbarian Herblore Training, you can add caviar to a Super defence(2) to make a super def. mix, which also heals 6 Hitpoints. You can add crystal dust at 70 Herblore to make a divine version. The 4-dose version is also an ingredient in the super combat potion at 90 Herblore.

The Super defence(2) is a members-only item. It is tradeable, can be noted, and weighs only 0.02 kg, so it is easy to carry and store.
