Description

The Uncooked apple pie is a food item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by adding a cooking apple to a pie shell that already has pastry dough in it. Making one takes level 30 Cooking and uses one cooking apple and one pie shell. The process is fast and takes only 2 ticks, which is 1.2 seconds.

This item is great for training Cooking. When cooked on a range, it becomes an apple pie and gives 130 Cooking experience. It cannot be cooked on a fire. There is a chance the pie will burn and turn into a burnt pie. Players who use the Lunar spell Bake Pie can cook it with no chance of burning at all.

Many players make and cook these pies in the Cooks' Guild. The guild needs level 32 Cooking and a Chef's hat to enter. It has cooking apple spawns, a pie dish respawn, a sink, a mill, wheat, and cooking ranges.

The Uncooked apple pie has item ID 2317 and can be traded on the Grand Exchange. Buying a stack of these pies saves time and lets players train Cooking right away.
