Description
The unfired pie dish is a Crafting item in Old School RuneScape. Players make it by using soft clay on a potter's wheel. This needs level 7 Crafting and gives 15 Crafting experience.
To finish the item, players fire it in a pottery oven. This turns it into a pie dish and gives 10 more Crafting experience. Firing has no Crafting level requirement, so any player can do it. At low levels, the dish can crack in the oven. A cracked dish is destroyed and gives no experience. Players with level 13 Crafting or higher will always fire it with success.
Making and firing pie dishes gives 25 total Crafting experience per dish. This makes it a good way for low level players to train Crafting.
The finished pie dish is used in Cooking to bake pies. Players add pastry dough to the dish to make a pie shell. Then they add a filling and bake the pie in an oven.
The unfired pie dish is tradeable and noteable. It is not equipable and does not stack. It weighs 0.68 kg. Its item ID is 1789.
