Description
The unholy symbol is a silver symbol blessed with the power of Zamorak in Old School RuneScape. Players wear it around the neck to gain a Prayer bonus of +8. It also gives +2 to all attack styles, which makes it a handy pick for low level combat and Prayer training.
Players can craft this item with level 17 Crafting. First, a silver bar is used on a furnace with an unholy mould to make an unstrung emblem. This gives 50 Crafting experience. Next, the symbol is strung with a ball of wool for 4 more experience. The unpowered symbol must then be blessed. The Spirit of Scorpius, found north of the Observatory, can bless it. Players with level 50 Prayer can also bless it using an unholy book or a book of balance, which uses some Prayer points.
The unholy symbol is a members item. It is equipable, tradeable, and can be noted. It has a fun side too. Wearing it in the Saradomin waiting room at Castle Wars turns the player into a rabbit, and entering the Guthix portal with it turns the player into a sheep.
