Description

Yew logs are a popular item in Old School RuneScape. Players cut them from yew trees, which need level 60 Woodcutting. These logs are used in several skills, so many players want a big supply of them.

With level 60 Firemaking, you can burn yew logs for 202.5 experience each. This makes them a solid way to train the skill. Fletchers use them too. At level 65 you can cut a yew shortbow, and at level 70 a yew longbow. You can also make arrow shafts, stocks, and a yew shield at level 72. The shield takes two logs and gives 150 Fletching experience.

Yew logs have other uses as well. Ten logs pay for your first Balloon trip to Castle Wars, and each trip after that costs just one log. Six logs can light an Abyssal lantern if you have level 60 Firemaking. Cutting yew logs is also part of an elite clue scroll challenge from Sherlock.

Yew logs are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to move and store. Buying them in bulk saves the time it takes to cut thousands of trees yourself.
