Buy OSRS Yew longbow

Description

The yew longbow is a strong ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is stronger than the maple longbow and can fire arrows up to rune. You need level 40 Ranged to wield it. The bow gives a ranged attack bonus of +47.

The bow has three combat styles. Accurate boosts your Ranged level by 3 and shoots every 3.6 seconds. Rapid shoots faster, every 3.0 seconds. Longrange boosts your Defence level by 3. All three styles reach targets up to 10 tiles away.

Players with level 70 Fletching can make this bow. First, cut a yew longbow (u) from yew logs. Then string it with a bow string. Each step gives 75 Fletching experience, so one log gives 150 experience in total. The bow can also drop as a very rare item from a young impling.

This bow matters for some in-game goals too. Making one from scratch in Seers' Village is a task in the Kandarin hard diary. Stringing one is also part of an elite clue scroll skill challenge from Sherlock. It is a solid pick for mid-level rangers and Fletching training alike.
