The abyssal orb is an off-hand Magic weapon in RuneScape 3. You need level 75 Magic to wield it. It is a tier 75 members item that you can trade, lend, and note.
This orb has strong stats for its tier. It gives 1694 Magic accuracy and 360 ability damage. It uses spell-casting with a range of 8 and the fastest attack speed of 2.4 seconds. Paired with the abyssal wand, it forms the highest level non-degrading dual wield Magic set at tier 75 outside of Daemonheim.
The abyssal orb can cast Slayer Dart. It can also save runes, just like the staff of light. It has a 1 in 8 chance to save all runes on autoattacks. That chance grows to 1 in 5 with combat robes and 1 in 2 with battle robes.
Abyssal demons and elite abyssal demons drop this orb, but only during a Slayer assignment. The drop is very rare, even rarer than the abyssal whip. Players with level 85 Invention can combine the orb with an abyssal wand and an augmentor to make a Dark Facet of Passage.
