Description
The Apex hide body + 5 is a tier 90 ranged tank armour piece for the torso slot in RuneScape 3. It is the fully upgraded version of the Apex hide body, boosted from tier 85 to tier 90 with extra apex leather. The upgrade raises its armour rating from 500.9 to 565.3.
This body gives a big life points bonus and damage reduction against both monsters and other players. It never degrades, so there are no repair costs. That makes it a strong pick for long boss fights and other ranged tank setups.
The armour is made from apex leather through the tailoring process at level 100 Crafting. Apex hides come from Havenhythe Big Game Hunter. With the full + 5 set, which includes the cowl, body, chaps, vambraces, and boots, players can adorn the set and sacrifice it for extra Crafting experience.
The Apex hide body + 5 is a members only item. It is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, and it can be reclaimed on death. It can also be disassembled for parts like Cover, Padded, and Tensile parts, plus rare Evasive and Protective components.
