The RS3 Apex hide body is a tier 85 ranged tank armour piece for the torso slot. It does not degrade, so it never needs repairs. You need level 99 Ranged to wear it. It is a members only item that can be traded.
This body gives 500.9 armour and a bonus of 1,275 life points. It also cuts damage from monsters by 1.98% and damage from players by 5.94%. It is built for defence, so it gives no damage bonus and lowers accuracy for all combat styles.
The body can be upgraded five times using apex leather. Each upgrade raises the tier, going from 85 up to 90. At the top level, the armour rating grows from 500.9 to 565.3. This makes it a strong pick for players who want to tank hard hits in high level fights.
Players with level 100 Crafting can also make this item at a pattern table using apex leather, apex sinew, steel studs, and a steel bar. It can be joined with other Apex hide pieces at the Grand Exchange clerk to form a full Apex hide armour set.
