Description

The Archaeology potion (3) is a members-only potion in RuneScape 3 with three doses. Drinking a dose boosts your Archaeology skill by 3 levels. The boost drops by 1 level each minute, and it does not stack with other temporary skill boosts. This makes it a handy way to reach a higher Archaeology level for a short time, such as digging at a hotspot just above your real level.

Players can make this potion at level 78 Herblore after learning the recipe from the Orthen Dig Site. It is made by mixing an unfinished avantoe potion with 5 of any one of seven soils, such as Ancient gravel, Volcanic ash, or Mossy peat. Each potion made gives 175 Herblore experience. Level 90 Archaeology is needed to dig up the recipe fragments.

The potion is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to store and move. It can also be disassembled for materials like Delicate parts, Organic parts, Crafted parts, Enhancing components, and Healthy components. It weighs only 0.02 kg. The potion was added to the game on 19 October 2020 along with the Archaeology skill content at the Orthen Dig Site.
