Description
The Armadyl buckler is a ranged shield in RuneScape 3. It is part of the Armadyl equipment set and needs 70 Defence to wear. It is a tier 70 shield that works well for ranged combat.
This shield is the ranged version of the Bandos warshield and the ward of subjugation. It has the same stats as a fully charged ranged dragonfire shield, plus an extra +1 prayer bonus. It gives 297 armour, 35 life points, and 7% damage reduction against monsters. This makes it a strong pick for boss fights and other PvM content.
The buckler drops from Kree'arra and his minions in the God Wars Dungeon. Kree'arra drops it at a rate of 1 in 384. His minions, Wingman Skree, Flight Kilisa, and Flockleader Geerin, drop it much more rarely.
Players who use Invention can augment the buckler with an Augmentor to make an Augmented Armadyl buckler. It can also be disassembled, and it always gives 1 Armadyl component. This makes it useful for making gizmos and other Invention items. Its examine text reads, "A graceful looking buckler of Armadyl."
