This is tank armour. It gives 420.6 armour and a bonus of 1,170 life points. It also cuts damage you take by 1.56% in PvM and 4.68% in PvP. That makes it a solid pick for players who want to stay alive longer in tough fights.

The platebody degrades over 40,000 charges of combat. When it breaks, it can be repaired with coins, or for less at an armour stand or whetstone. It can also be reforged at an anvil using 20 bane bars. With 40 more bars, it can be upgraded again to a bane platebody + 4.

Players with level 80 Smithing can also use it in training, since making it at a forge and anvil grants Smithing experience. The item is members only, tradeable, and can be disassembled. It pairs well with other bane pieces like the full helm, platelegs, and square shield.
