Bane platelegs + 4 are tier 79 melee leg armour in RuneScape 3. They are bane platelegs that have been upgraded four times. You need level 80 Defence to wear them. They give 412.7 armour, 1,185 life points, 1.58% PvM damage reduction, and 4.1475% PvP damage reduction. They are light too, at only 0.12 kg.

Players make these platelegs at a forge and anvil. Upgrading from bane platelegs + 3 takes 24 bane bars and level 80 Smithing, and it gives 16,800 Smithing experience. From base platelegs to + 4, the full upgrade path uses 48 bane bars in total. They can also be turned into bane burial platelegs for extra experience.

The platelegs degrade after 50,000 charges of combat and then need repair. A full repair costs up to 600,000 coins, and an armour stand or whetstone makes it cheaper. You can also repair them at an anvil with up to 24 bane bars. The item is tradeable and members only.
