Batwing boots are tier 30 magic tank armour for the boot slot in RuneScape 3. They are free-to-play, so any player can use them. To wear them, you need level 30 Defence.

These boots give 22.7 armour and 0.6% damage reduction against monsters. They are light too, weighing only 0.453 kg. Their examine text reads "Supple, stylish footwear for mages." They are the only piece of the batwing set without the purple colour the rest of the set has.

Players can also make batwing boots. Use a needle and thread on one piece of batwing at level 31 Crafting. This gives 12 Crafting experience. The boots are tradeable and can be noted.

Batwing boots can be disassembled for Invention. This gives 9 experience and can yield Cover parts, Magic parts, Deflecting parts, Powerful components, and Protective components. The base junk chance is 67%, which can be lowered.

These boots are a solid pick for low-level mages who want cheap magic armour. They fit well with the rest of the batwing set for training combat in free-to-play worlds.
