Description

Beltfish is a members-only food item in RuneScape 3. Each one heals 1,650 life points when eaten from the backpack. That makes it a strong mid-level food, since it heals more than a monkfish.

Beltfish comes from raw beltfish caught in the Port district of Menaphos. Fishing them needs level 72 Fishing, a fishing rod, and bait. Cooking them needs level 72 Cooking. A stack of cooked beltfish saves time, so players can skip the fishing and cooking and get right to using the food.

This fish works well for training combat, doing quests, or fighting bosses at mid levels. It also counts toward the Fishy Dishes achievement, which asks players to sample a list of fish dishes.

Beltfish can be disassembled for Invention materials. It falls in the Food and herbs category and gives mostly Organic parts, with small chances of Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components. The base junk chance is 20.8 percent.

Beltfish is tradeable and noteable but not stackable. Each one weighs 0.5 kg. The item was added to the game on 5 June 2017.
