Description

The Black platebody (h1) is a heraldic version of the black platebody in RuneScape 3. It has a special crest design on the chest, but it works the same as the normal black platebody. It is a possible reward from easy clue scrolls in the Treasure Trails activity.

This is tier 25 melee tank armour for the body slot. You need level 25 Defence to wear it. It gives 87.6 armour, plus 0.5% damage reduction against monsters and 1.5% against other players. It is a solid pick for low level players who want strong defence with a unique look.

Heraldic armour cannot be made with the Smithing skill, and players cannot decorate it. That makes clue scroll rewards the main way to get it. You can store it in the treasure chest of your player-owned house costume room. It goes there with the matching black platelegs or plateskirt (h1), black shield (h1), and black helm (h1) as an easy-level set.

The item is free to play, tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for Invention, and it always gives one Fortunate component.
