Black platelegs (h1) are a heraldic version of black platelegs in RuneScape 3. They have the same stats as regular black platelegs, but they show a special heraldic design. These platelegs come from Treasure Trails as a possible reward from an easy reward casket.
You need level 25 Defence to wear them. They are melee tank armour, Tier 25, and go in the legs slot. They give 83.8 armour, a 375 life points bonus, 0.5% PvM damage reduction, and 1.3125% PvP damage reduction. This makes them a solid leg piece for low level melee training.
The platelegs match other heraldic black pieces. With a black platebody (h1), black shield (h1), and black helm (h1), the full set can be stored in a treasure chest in the costume room of a player-owned house. Heraldic armour cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so Treasure Trails is the way to get it.
The item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for melee armour materials and always gives one Fortunate component. It weighs 9.071 kg and has a Grand Exchange buy limit of 2.
