Description

The Black platebody (h5) is a heraldic version of the black platebody in RuneScape 3. It shows a heraldic design on the chest, but it has the same stats as the plain black platebody. It comes as a possible reward from easy clue scrolls in Treasure Trails.

You need level 25 Defence to wear it. It is tier 25 melee tank armour for the body slot. It gives 87.6 armour, a 375 life points bonus, 0.5% damage reduction in PvM, and 1.5% in PvP. It gives no prayer bonus. It is a members item that is tradeable, equipable, and noteable.

This platebody cannot be made with Smithing, and players cannot decorate it themselves. That makes it a nice pick for players who want a rare look at a low level. Pair it with the black platelegs (h5) or plateskirt (h5), the black shield (h5), and the black helm (h5) to store the full easy-level set in a treasure chest in your player-owned house.

It can also be disassembled for Invention. It always gives one Fortunate component and grants 7.5 experience, with a base junk chance of 72.5%.
