Description

The Black helm (h5) is a black helmet with a heraldic design in RuneScape 3. It has the same stats as a normal black helm and needs level 25 Defence to wear. It is a tier 25 melee tank helmet with an armour rating of 76.2 and a life points bonus of 250. It also gives a small damage reduction of 0.5% in PvM and 0.9375% in PvP.

This helm is a possible reward from an easy reward casket in the Treasure Trails Distraction and Diversion. It is a free-to-play item, and it is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, and players cannot add the design themselves.

The helm can be stored in a treasure chest in a player-owned house costume room. To store it, players need the full easy-level set. The set includes a black platebody (h5), black platelegs (h5) or a black plateskirt (h5), and a black shield (h5).

Players can also disassemble the helm for Invention. It always gives 1 Fortunate component and can give Cover parts, Plated parts, Deflecting parts, Strong components, and Protective components.
