Broken masterwork melee platelegs are the degraded form of masterwork melee platelegs in RuneScape 3. These platelegs are made by a master smith and drop to this broken state after 100,000 charges of combat. Once repaired, they work again at full power.

When fixed, the platelegs are tier 90 power armour for the legs slot. They need level 90 Defence to wear. They give 479.1 armour, a 28.1 melee damage bonus, and a 2 Prayer bonus. They also give 2.3625% PvP damage reduction. This makes them a strong pick for melee players who want high damage and solid defence.

Repair costs at most 1,200,000 coins. Players can save 0.5% per Smithing level by using an armour stand in a player-owned house, a whetstone, or a legendary pet's Item Repair ability. NPCs like Bob in Lumbridge, Tindel Marchant at Port Khazard, Dunstan in Burthorpe, or the Squire at the Void Knights' Outpost can also fix them at full price.

The repaired platelegs can be augmented with an Augmentor. They can also be upgraded with three masterwork melee armour trim pieces to make trimmed masterwork melee platelegs.
