Description

Bronze bolts are crossbow ammunition in RuneScape 3. They are the most basic bolts in the game and can be fired from any crossbow. You only need level 1 Ranged to use them, so they are a great pick for new players training the Ranged skill.

These bolts are tier 5 and fit in the bolt slot. They deal 48.0 ability damage with a maximum hit of 72. There are no requirements to equip them.

Bronze bolts are also useful for training Fletching. With level 11 Fletching, you can add opal bolt tips to make opal bolts. At level 51, you can add barbed tips to make barbed bolts. At level 60, you can attach ascension fragments to create fragment bolts. Each of these gives Fletching experience.

Players who want to skip smithing bronze bars and adding feathers can buy bronze bolts ready to use. This saves time spent at the anvil and lets you get straight to training Ranged or crafting tipped bolts. Bronze bolts stack in your inventory, so a large supply takes up only one slot.
