Description
The Catalytic anima stone is a Runecrafting item in RuneScape 3. It adds +2 to your rune multiplier when you craft catalytic runes. This means you get more runes from the same essence.
It works with these rune types: mind, body, chaos, death, cosmic, law, nature, blood, astral, soul, time, and Armadyl runes. One stone is used up for each rune essence you craft. The extra runes do not give extra experience, and the Powerburst of sorcery does not boost the bonus runes.
Soul runes work a bit differently. Each charge on the soul altar uses one stone and gives two extra soul runes. This does not always work right in the game, so using many charges can give fewer extra runes than expected. The stone has no effect on necrotic runes. Those need necrotic anima stones instead.
The Catalytic anima stone is a members-only item. It is tradeable, stackable, and can be disassembled. It weighs nothing, so it is easy to carry in bulk. It was added to the game on 7 November 2022. It is a smart pick for players who want to craft more runes and save time at the altar.
