Description
The RS3 Necrotic anima stone is a members-only item used in Runecrafting. Each stone gives the Necrotic Multiplier effect. This adds +2 to the rune multiplier when you craft necrotic runes. Necrotic runes include spirit, bone, flesh, and miasma runes.
One stone is used up for each impure essence you craft into necrotic runes. This means each stone adds two extra runes to your total. The extra runes do not give any bonus experience. The Powerburst of sorcery also has no effect on the extra runes from the stones.
These stones are stackable and tradeable, so they are easy to store and easy to sell. They can also be disassembled for Simple parts or, on rare rolls, Variable components.
In the game, the stones drop from the Vault of Hereditas and from Amascut, the Devourer. Amascut drops more stones at higher enrage levels. Players want these stones because they boost rune output per essence. At current Grand Exchange prices, using them adds profit when crafting flesh runes and miasma runes. Stock up on Necrotic anima stones to get more runes from every impure essence you craft.
