Description

The RS3 Clockwork cat is a members-only pet in RuneScape 3. It is a small mechanical cat made from a clockwork and a steel bar at a crafting table in the Workshop of a player-owned house. Making one needs level 85 Crafting and gives 15 experience.

Release the clockwork cat and it will follow you around like a real cat. It never needs food or attention, so it is easy to keep. You do not need to finish the Gertrude's Cat quest to own one. When you talk to it, the cat makes fun mechanical sounds. You can also store it in a Menagerie in your player-owned house.

This cat cannot be fed, petted, or spoken to like a normal cat. It cannot catch rats, and it does not count as a real cat in quests. It is not the same as the wooden cat, which is a quest item.

The clockwork cat is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 1 kg. It can be disassembled for simple parts, crafted parts, and clockwork components, with a base junk chance of 98.9%. Its examine text reads "Nice bit of crafting!"
