Description

The Coconut Shell is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. You get it by taking the coconut milk out of a coconut that has been opened with a hammer. To make one, you need level 1 Herblore, a vial, and an opened coconut. The process gives 1 Herblore experience and coconut milk as a by-product.

The main use for a coconut shell is farming. You can place it in a Compost Bin to make supercompost. Coconut shells are likely the cheapest item you can use to make supercompost, so they are a smart pick for players who want to save coins while training Farming.

The item is tradeable, noteable, and light at only 0.028 kg. It cannot be stacked or worn. You can also disassemble it for Invention materials. It gives mostly Organic parts, with small chances at Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components. The base junk chance is high at 98.9%, and each shell gives 0.1 disassembly experience.

Its examine text reads, "All the milk has been removed." The coconut shell was added to the game on 11 July 2005.
